Theatre A Project of Fulton School of Liberal Arts

Theatre & Dance

The Bobbi Biron Theatre Program's season runs parallel to the academic year and provides performance opportunities for all university students. The program presents a range of plays from the 18th century to the present. The Department offers an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre that balances a broad liberal arts perspective with the specifics of professional training focused on either performance or design and production. Anchored in the classical tradition, the program examines theatre through aesthetic education and criticism, creative expressions, and historical and socio-cultural perspectives. Our theatres graduates are prepared for placement in professional theatres, graduate school, or related fields.

How Can YOU Make a Difference?

Our faculty need your help to give our students an understanding, not only of how to execute a successful theatrical performance, but also of how centuries of plays and playwrights successfully captured and influenced history. Your gift, no matter the size, combined with others, will help the Theatre Department provide an extraordinary program for our students. Your investment will supply quality materials for student productions such as costumes, sets, and scenery.
