Honor Salisbury's first football team!

The 1972 Football Team Fund for Locker Room Enhancements A Project of Maroon & Gold General Athletic Fund

The 1972 football team was the first football team at then Salisbury State College. Under the leadership of Head Coach Dick Yobst and assistant coaches M.P. Minton, Chet Hanulak and Mike McGlinchey, the 1972 ended the year with four wins and only two losses. This historic group paved the way for future success by the football program and opened the door to other team sports being added in subsequent years. To celebrate this historic group, members of the 1972 football team are raising funds to enhance the football locker room in Sea Gull Stadium. The locker room is a sacred place for players and coaches and is also a great recruiting tool for future Sea Gull players. Honor the 1972 team and help make the locker room a special place for the players and coaches by making a tax-deductible donation today!
